Google Launches Google Map Maker in the Philippines

Google, Inc. announced on Wednesday the availability of Google Map Maker in RP.

Google Product Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific Jason Chuck said “Google Map Maker is a tool based on Google Maps where users can interface to solve key problems.”

The main goal of the Google Map Maker is to provide their users a useful, comprehensive and updated map of RP.

“Since the map data is collected from people who have first-hand knowledge of the area, the information becomes more meaningful and relevant to users,” Chuck added.

The Philippines is one of the focus countries of the California-based company because the country has a good internet user market.

I think this would be great… I have a new incoming project which I will be using google maps. Hopefully I will be able to make this project.

This is great for RP specially for those businesses or individuals engaged in real estate business. A prospective buyer doesn’t have to see the area physically. It can be viewed right on the computer screen, unless you want to see the interior of the house being sold. This is also great for plants and flowers nursery business. Customers can view their nursery and survey what they have there in terms of plants such as palm trees, hedges and flowers. Very interesting, convenient and energy saving. I hope it can happen soon. RP has a very favorable chance because of its good internet user market.
